Thought-Controlled Bionic Limbs

Johns Hopkins APL - Modular Prosthetic limbs
The Applied Physics Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University is developing upper limb prosthetics with supporting technology that restores near-normal function to upper limbs.

The neural interface between the limb and the body’s nervous system is enabled by sensors fitted into the prosthetic. It is still early days but as this early video shows, thought-controlled bionic limbs have the potential to dramatically change the lives of disabled people the world over.
